Summary (pros) :
I picked up this product with my new 8gb nano 3rd gen. This is a great skin. It comes with a screen protector that sticks right over the glass (perfect fit), which I believe is better than a built in screen.
It’s a tight fit and most importantly is the ability to control the ipod with this skin. Its touch sensitivity pass-through, is better than working with the iPod without this skin.
The width is increased to double the original size to allow you to wrap your head phones around, which works great and gives you a better grip over the tiny iPod.
Cons:
Docking.. This skin doesn’t work well when docking in a tight spot. The headphone wrap feature gets in the way. For example when I use the car docking station I have to remove the skin, however when I use the ihome docking station there is enough room.
Thickness.. This can fall under both pros / cons depending on your perspective. This more than doubles the thickness of the iPod, which takes away from is very small profile. HOWEVER.. To me, it gives me a much better feel of stability when holding it, as the nano on its own is too thin to be held properly.
